Community
Volunteer service and support for our community make up a big part of who we are - and how we do business. Our staff donates generously of their time, talent, and resources in support of local and national charities, nonprofits, and groups who strive to make a positive difference. Please take a moment to visit the websites of some of the groups we support. And if you find yourself in a position to give of your time, talents, or abilities, each could use your help.

As you might know, the Boy Scouts of America are celebrating their 100th Anniversary this year. On Friday our CEO was invited by one of our print clients, Gibby Media to attend a special breakfast in celebration of the organization and its contributions to our children and our community. Around 250 of Spokane's industry leaders were in attendance. Attendees opened their hearts and their wallets in support of the Inland Northwest Council's efforts to give underpriviledged youth in Spokane a chance to participate in the scouting experience. By the end of the breakfast, together we had raised $196,202. towards this cause! It reminded me how good it can feel to be part of something larger than ourselves - and to give back to the community that supports us so well.

What difference can 1 bus driver, 7 teachers, 15 middle school students, 6 parents and a bus make towards feeding the hungry this holiday season? Well today, we all came together for Horizon Middle School's annual Fill The Bus food drive. For four hours today we joined forces to help Albertson's Grocery Store patrons fill a school bus with food for the needy. An unofficial tally put everyones efforts at 50 frozen turkeys, 3 shopping carts full of potatoes, and thousands of pounds of canned and boxed food. It took us 1 hour to offload the bus - while two other buses from other schools in the area waited behind ours to offload theirs. All involved were edified in our efforts - and no doubt hundreds of families will benefit from our efforts during this holiday season. Well done to all involved!

Chris recently took part in teaching a Junior Achievement class at Trent Elementary. "It was a wonderful opportunity to interact with the children, support their teacher, and our public schools."
